Covid-19 Travel Information

Entry into France/Monaco:
We would like to take this opportunity to update you on the last information regarding the entry to Metropolitan France to transit to Monaco.
 
Please kindly note that health control measures might be different depending on whether you are vaccinated or not. It must be noted that the vaccination schedule is considered complete 28 days after the administration of one dose for Johnson & Johnson vaccine and 14 days after the administration of a second dose for other vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca).
 
Please find here further details according to your country of departure and travel possibilities and measures imposed to you.
 
We also would like to remind that anyone, whatever their nationality, who enters the Principality of Monaco and comes from a foreign country must be able to justify, in the event of a control by the Monegasque authorities, the negative result of a PCR test, carried out less than 72 hours before arriving in the Principality. This negative result of a PCR test will be asked by the FIA and the hotel upon check-in as well.
 
These requirements are re-assessed regularly by the French and Monegasque authorities, and we will update you should there be a change before the Conference. Furthermore, we strongly suggest that you check the requirements from your country of origin to allow a smooth return.
 
Complimentary transfers will be offered from/to Nice International (NCE) Airport to the FIA official hotels located in Monaco, and should you wish to benefit from these transfers, please kindly share by return email your arrival and departure flights details with dates.
 
Should you need any assistance or have any questions regarding the visa, do not hesitate to contact us.
 
Upon arrival in Monaco, please note that the hotel will request a negative PCR test certificate, done less than 72 hours before traveling.
 
Please note that airlines might request a PCR negative test as well. We kindly invite you to check their conditions when proceeding your flight ticket purchase.
 
Please note that due to the current sanitary situation, we will do our best to have side events, such as networking opportunities, activities & social events, in compliance with all the restrictions in place at the time of the event. We however depend on the measures which will be applicable in July in Monaco. We will send further information on these side events closer to the Conference.
 
 

FIA Sanitary Plan

Please note that the FIA has put in place a strict Sanitary Plan which will have to be applied by all delegates and staff present in Monaco for the FIA Conference. Please beware that this plan may evolve by July. You can find this Sanitary Plan here.

Transfers

The FIA will be providing a transfer service between the airport/train station to the conference hotel in compliance with the new health and safety standards.

Visa

It is important to check on the current status of visa requirements. Please make sure to check if you need a Visa to enter France through the French Government website.

Please note that Monaco uses Euros, indicated as EUR.

ON SITE

Welcome desk

The welcome desk will open on Sunday 4th of July at 14:00. It will be set up in the Fairmont Hotel.

Please visit the desk upon arrival. The FIA Conference team will be available to assist you with any queries.

Opening hours:

  • On Sunday 4 July from 14:00 to 18:00
  • From Monday 5 to Wednesday 7 July from 08:00 to 18:00
  • On Thursday 8 July from 08:00 to 14:00

Social events Dress Codes

Welcome cocktail: Smart Casual

Gala Dinner: Business attire - Jacket and tie are required. Women should dress with equally appropriate formality.

Meals

Breakfast

Breakfast is included in the room rate. Please follow the hotel's instructions regarding breakfast measures.

Lunch

Should the sanitary measures allow us, lunches will be served in between 12:00 and 13:00 in the Salon Bellvue, located in Place du Casino. Otherwise, lunches will be distributed and will have to be eaten at your seats, in the meeting rooms.

You will receive all the accesses and information to follow the live stream of the sessions, a few days before the Conference starts.

Please visit the digital FIA Conference platform once you receive it. You will find all the exhibitors present at the FIA eMotorEx, you will have all information about the speakers.

You will have the opportunity to chat with your colleagues and other delegates registered to attend the FIA Conference.

 

Replay of the sessions

The platform will be available during the conference to follow the live of the sessions. After the conference, during 30 days, all the replays will be available on the same platform
